Jetraw, lossless raw image compression software developed by Dotphoton, gets first-party integration on PCO’s sCMOS camera portfolio. First-party integration facilitates the use of Jetraw for existing and future PCO camera users.

Compressed images in TIFF format are delivered straight out of the camera and do not require a change of data acquisition workflow. 5:1-10:1 compression ratio and the highest speed for real-time compression of 200MB/sec/core allow PCO camera users to handle and store image data more efficiently and meet FAIR data principles.

Jetraw encoder is available on all panda and edge PCO camera series and is free for a 30 days trial period. The decoder is provided for free. Existing owners of these cameras can get access to the Jetraw trial licence via a camera software update.

Jetraw can be used through C/C++, Python, command line, Matlab, Fiji/ImageJ.More information on this product is available at PCO virtual booth at Photonics West or directly at jetraw.com.
