Today an article featuring Jetraw that compiles a long and extensive collaboration between many scientists, was published in the Scientific Reports by Nature.
It’s a combined work of Haute école du paysage, d'ingénierie et d'architecture de Genève - HEPIA, EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering, Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research and Dotphoton.
The paper looks at the methods to quantify the impact of the image compression on AI predictions, and the effect of Jetraw. The article demonstrates rigorous studies of the Jetraw compression that preserves the information embedded in raw images and ensures reliable machine learning results within optical microscopy.
