Dotphoton and Bosch collaboration at the Startup Autobahn Expo 2024

Dotphoton and Bosch jointly presented the results of their collaboration at the Startup Autobahn Expo 2024! Our CEO Bruno Sanguinetti, and Claus Spizig from Bosch Mobility addressed the issue of the escalating costs and CO2 emissions from ever-growing automotive data. Claus highlighted how traditional compression methods don’t meet the requirements for safety-critical applications and how lossless compression isn’t efficient.Bosch closely worked with Dotphoton to implement Jetraw technology, tailoring it for the automotive ecosystem. Jetraw offers the best of both worlds: fast speeds and high compression ratios, while preserving the raw properties of data crucial for safety-critical applications. Despite initial challenges, the results from the first iterations are impressive and continue to improve: significant cost savings 💰, enhanced performance 📈, and reduced environmental impact.

Looking to the future, Bruno introduced the new Jetraw cross-storage data management platform, which seamlessly handles compression/decompression during cloud or local uploads/downloads, offering real-time data monitoring and storage savings.
